It took place at BasicItalia headquarters, Turin, the 5th Robe di Kappa Q1Q2 2017 Seasonal Meeting entitled “E Guerra sia” (“And war is”, n.d.t), at the presence of Italian franchisees and CRSs, and of a few foreign licensees such as Belgium (PM United Brands) and Slovakia (Eurosports).
The meeting started with the documentary “Keep on Kombat”, introduced by BasicItalia’s Chairman Elisabetta Rolando and dedicated to the hundredth anniversary of BasicNet Group.
During the welcome speech, Marco Boglione stated: “The Company have been fighting for 1 hundred years: we provide you weapons such as the style, the business model, and the collections. We must win the market, this is our sport war”. Leaving the stage to the fashion show dedicated to Q1Q2 collections, BasicNet’s Founder and Chairman said: “We don’t have to be fashion, we have to be stylish”.
During the catwalk, a few Kappa styles have been unveiled too: Kombat Training, 222 Banda, Authentic, and others. The Seasonal Meeting went on with the technical presentations of Stefania Spinelli by Robe di Kappa Production, Filippo Besenzon and Roberta Biino by Kappa Production, Paolo Arruzza by Kappastore, Federica Borin and Marco Righetti by Kappa and Robe di Kappa Italian marketing. Gabriele Michi illustrated to guests the shop management activities. The 5th Seasonal Meeting ended with an evening aperitif.
