On February 15th BasicNet’s CEO Gianni Crespi showed to colleagues the 2016 preliminary results reviewed by the Board of Directors, called to meet in the morning under the chairmanship of Marco Boglione. Aggregate sales of Group products by licensees globally grew up to 740 million euros (+1.3% on 2015) with a significant development of Kappa® and Robe di Kappa® sales in the Americas (+54.4%); of Superga® in Northern Europe (+56.3%) and on the American market (+42.7%); of K-Way® in Asia (+37.4%). Sales of the investee BasicItalia total 134.2 million (+1% on 2015). Royalties and sourcing commissions of 46.4 million euros. EBITDA of 21.5 million; pre-tax profit of 14.9 million euros. Increase in communication, sponsorship and related marketing investments, both in Italy and overseas (+ 6.1 million euros on 2015 / +29%).
