Two sneakers – one low, the other mid cut– inspired by the Turin brand's famous Sport line
Superga® presents two sneakers born of a collaboration with Russian designer, photographer and videomaker Gosha Rubchinskiy – an important figure in international fashion who launched his eponymous menswear label in 2008 and has been collaborating with the brand Comme des Garçons since 2012. For the launch of the Superga® Sport line, Gosha and Superga® have developed two tennis shoes for men - a low and a mid cut - inspired by the model with swallow's tail logo, worn by Italian champion Adriano Panatta, winner in 1976 of Roland Garros, the Italian Open and the Davis Cup. Superga® Gosha Rubchinskiy feature the designer's name embroidered on a cotton upper, a leather "swallow's tail" logo, cotton lining and an insole customized with Gosha Rubchinskiy's logo. The sole is in vulcanized natural rubber, just like all of Superga's sneakers since 1925. The models will be available in white and in black with prices ranging from £105 for the low top and £115 for the high top, on sale from February 23rd at London’s Dover Street Market.
