On February 19th BasicNet’s CEO Gianni Crespi showed to colleagues the 2017 preliminary results reviewed by the Board of Directors, called to meet in the morning under the chairmanship of Marco Boglione. Aggregate sales of Group products by licensees globally grew up to 747.8 million euros (+1.1%), registering a double digit growth of Kappa® in the Americas (+24.6%); of Superga® in Argentina (+99%), Chile (+94%), Brazil (+40%), and USA (+27%); of K-Way® in Europe (+12.6%), driven by France (+46%). Briko® brand sales were up 51.4%. Royalties and sourcing commission of 47.9 million (+3.2%). Sales of the subsidiaries BasicItalia and BasicRetail of 135.6 million. EBITDA at 23 million (+7.2%); EBIT at 16.6 million (+9.1%); pre-tax profit of 15 million. In 2017 Briko® and Sebago® brands were added to BasicNet portfolio.
