On July, 25th BasicNet CEO Federico Trono has shown to colleagues the 2019 Half-Year Report, approved by the Board of Directors, called to meet in the morning under the chairmanship of Marco Boglione. Results reflect the acquisition of the French licensee Sport Finance SAS (now Kappa® Europe) in addition to application of IFRS 16. Aggregate sales for 484.8 million euros up 21.6% related to the H1 2018; royalties and sourcing commissions up to 4.5% at current exchange rates to 26.8 million. EBITDA (+54.5%) was also up significantly to 20.3 million euros, with EBIT (+43.8%) at 14.6 million and a net profit of 10.4 million (+60.2%). Aggregate sales of the global commercial and productive licensee network were particularly strong on the American market (+54.8%) with significant recovery in Middle East and Africa (+46.2%). Asia and Oceania grew 11.6%; European market growth continued (+18%). Direct consolidated sales totaled 111 million euros.
