In occasion of the K-Way®’s 50th birthday, the French entrepreneur Léon-Claude Duhamel, who invented the famous rainproof jacket in 1965, landed in Turin to visit the BasicNet headquarters along with his wife Françoise. After the welcome by the top management, the President Marco Boglione explained him the business model and the company’s dot.com, and the “new life” of the brand. Duhamel then visited the K-Way® flagship store in via Roma, welcomed by the local and national press. The day continued with a visit to the cultural study “Diction@ry Tradem@rks”, and in the BasicNet offices and R&D centers.
Cocktail at the Foresteria and a dinner at the famous “del Cambio” restaurant closed the first day. On Friday 27th Léon-Claude Duhamel and Marco Boglione dedicated the morning to press interviews in the K-Way® design office, and ended the visit on the roof garden for a lunch together with the Group’s colleagues.
