A double win for Goggia in the downhill; Fisi athletes kitted by Kappa® dominate world skiing Sofia Goggia achieved a double win in the downhill in Crans Montana (Switzerland), finishing first in both races on Friday and Saturday, January 22nd and 23rd. The Fisi athlete – the Italian Winter Sports Federation, sponsored by Kappa® since 2011 and, recently, by Briko® – reached 4 consecutive victories and 11 in career. Her double win is the sixth back-to-back in the history of Italian skiing. The first was Gustavo Thoeni, who won two giants in Madonna di Campiglio in 1970; the penultimate was Marta Bassino in the giant, a few days ago. Michela Moioli also arrived first in snowboarding in Valmalenco (Italy); same result for the duo Rieder&Rastner in men’s doubles in tobogganing on artificial slopes on Saturday, January 23rd (Igls, Austria). |
