Milan, September 26th, 2024 – Campari Soda, the iconic aperitif proudly label-free since 1932, together with Kappa®, leading brand in the Italian sportswear and streetwear industry, announce their collaboration to create the exclusive capsule collection: The Authentic Aperitivo. This one-of-a-kind line is inspired by the Kappa® Authentic SS24 collection and celebrates the meeting of two distinct but complementary worlds. On one side, the #SenzaEtichette universe of Campari Soda, a symbol of Italian aperitivo culture and conviviality, and on the other, Kappa®'s vibrancy, an icon of younger generations and modernity, united by a shared desire for authenticity, experienced in the urban streets that evoke a sense of belonging and a "home away from home."
The union of these two icons of the Italian scene is celebrated in a collection that features selected pieces from the Kappa® Authentic line, customized with distinctive graphics inspired by the design of Campari Soda and its iconic glass bottle. The collection includes T-shirts, available in black and white, coordinated sweatshirts and pants, and a practical fanny pack. Additionally, for this occasion, the historic Kappa® logo, born from a spontaneous shot of two models not posing, and unchanged since 1969, gets a new look: the iconic "Omini" no longer sit back to back but instead turn to face each other, reflecting the spirit of conviviality that Campari Soda has always promoted.
A line that speaks the language of the young, of those who refuse to conform and consciously choose to be themselves, and who love the vibrant atmosphere of bustling streets: the true stage for the aperitivo.
The collaboration is announced through a campaign shot by the expert, brilliant, and documentary-like eye of Yuri Ancarani. The protagonists, real authentic people selected through street casting, will move through the streets of their cities and provinces, with spontaneous gestures, engaging the audience in their lives, through their reactions and the relationships they create along the way. Their journey will take them to the bar, a place and space for authentic gathering and sharing with friends.
