After the Board of Directors called to meet on Friday, October 27th under the chairmanship of Marco Boglione, BasicNet’s CEO Gianni Crespi has shown to colleagues the 9M 2017 operating performance. BasicNet brands’ aggregate sales amount to 570 million euros (+2.4%), with consolidated revenues – including royalties and sourcing commissions, in addition to BasicItalia’s and BasicRetail’s sales – up to 135.2 million euros (+1.5%). Positive data for Kappa® and Robe di Kappa® in Germany (+35%), Russia (+17%), Turkey (+66%) and the Americas (+19.4%). Major commercial growth on the American market for Superga®, especially in Chile (+120%), Argentine (+91%) and Usa (+23%). The K-Way® brand reports overall commercial growth of 9.8%; Briko® brand grows 49%.
The Board of Directors meeting started with a special video showing the first 7 years of Apple-1, since its purchase in November 2010 by Marco Boglione. Franco Spalla announced his resignation from his office of Vice Chairman; he will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors.
