Exhibit “Homage to the IT Revolution”
The setting up of the exhibit “Homage to the IT Revolution” @Cupertino’s Historical Society & Museum (California, USA) curated by Cecilia Botta for BasicGallery, the historical archive of the Turin-based industrial group, and designed by Alessandro Jorio and Barbara Molino for BasicCreativity. From June 19th to September 19th, BasicGallery will chronicle the history of the IT revolution through a series of video-interviews with the players of the time and the exhibition of some storied machines, including the Apple-1. Hand-assembled by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in 1976, the device was purchased in 2010 by BasicNet’s founder and Chairman Marco Boglione at a Christie’s auction.

L’allestimento della mostra “Homage to the IT Revolution” all’Historical Society & Museum di Cupertino (California, USA) curato da Cecilia Botta per BasicGallery, archivio storico del gruppo industriale torinese ed è stato disegnato da Alessandro Jorio e Barbara Molino per BasicCreativity. Dal 19 giugno al 19 settembre, BasicGallery porta in Silicon Valley la storia della rivoluzione informatica raccontata atraverso una serie di videointerviste ai protagonisti dell’epoca e alcuni memorabilia digitali, tra cui l’Apple-1 creato da Steve Jobs e Steve Wozniak nel 1976, e acquistato dal fondatore e presidente di BasicNet Marco Boglione a un’asta da Christie’s nel 2010.
