Superga® is thrilled to announce its Spring/Summer 2022 advertising campaign and collaboration with Emily Ratajkowski, the brand's newest ambassador. A fan of the brand for over a decade, the capsule collection marries the Italian heritage, authentic spirit with a mix of timeless, effortless, laid-back design. The newest Superga® ambassador has had an affinity for the brand throughout her lifetime, wearing to castings and shoots, exploring New York City and traveling across the world. As a closet staple for women, men and kids, Emily wanted to put her own twist on two of the most iconic styles while preserving its original heritage and simplicity. During the design process, Emily chose Superga® 2750, a style that was conceived as the first Italian tennis shoe over 100 years ago by the owner of the brand and the Alpina, known for trekking back in the 50s, to customize. She wanted to respect the Italian heritage and timeless silhouette of the brand. “I love Superga and their timeless approach to sneakers. I’ve been wearing the brand for years so this collaboration felt completely natural to me,” said Emily Ratajkowski. She tweaked the styles to have the bindings in an off-white color and rounded the laces. The campaign was shot in Los Angeles in January 2022 on a neutral background at Milk Studios by Photographer Zoey Grossman, known for her high energy, edgy grit and feminine eye, who brought to life Emily’s version of her collaboration with Superga®. New York based stylist, Emma Morrison, dressed Emily in clothing that provides easy movement. With being a new mom, the campaign showcases effortless silhouettes, materials, and textures in a series of looks that she can look stylish and comfortable in from day-to-night. The Training 9TS sneaker is the new must-have addition to your athleisure edit, made from recycled nylon with faux suede details and iconic faux leather swallowtail patches on the sides. A natural-look recycled rubber running sole completes the look and reinforces its green spirit.

This Alpina sneaker reinforces the heritage details originally designed for hikers in the â€50s, updated with a sophisticated all-white design for a timelessly elegant look. Complete with tubular laces, the exclusive collaboration patch on the inside and a practical cotton bag.

2631 STRIPE PLATFORM Classic Superga® styling meets contemporary workwear influences. Made from breathable cotton, this sneaker is characterized by a robust construction: the toe is reinforced with a striped rubber cap, whilst the extra-chunky sole supports the foot and provides enhanced resistance.

2490 BOLD ORGANIC CANVAS, NATURAL DYE Bold style is the interpretation of the most iconic household sneaker that takes inspiration from skate shoes. The perspective is flipped thanks to the combination of the classic material upper with a higher sole, highlighted by the line that runs along the foxing. This release features an organic cotton upper and a cork insole.

2790 COTW Superga®’s signature aesthetic reaches new heights in these 2790 sneakers that pair the iconic silhouette with a 4 cm flatform.
