On Monday, May 2^nd BasicNet’s CEO Federico Trono has shown to colleagues the Q1 2022 performance, reviewed by the Board of Directors last Friday afternoon, April 29^th. Aggregate sales by the Global licensee network of 277.5 million euros, up 28%. Aggregate royalties of 21.4 million, up 23%. Consolidated revenues of 84.6 million, up 26%. Strong growth for EBITDA, up 55.6%, and EBIT, up 77.5%. Commercial licensees’ sales confirmed 2021 growth:  90.8% in the Americas;  42.5% in Middle East and Africa;  10.4% in Europe;  35% in Asia and Oceania. An extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting was called for May 30^th to cancel 6,993,602 treasury shares in the portfolio without reducing the share capital.
