The annual ignition of the Apple-1, purchased by Marco Boglione at a Christie’s auction in 2010, took place in Turin at the BasicVillage on Tuesday, May 24th. BasicGallery, the historical archive of BasicNet, and the 8bitLab by Claudio Parmigiani, Gabriele Seleri, Giuliano Mingarelli, and Cecilia Botta carried out the switching on and testing of the motherboard, created by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in 1976. Once again, the first Apple computer was fully functional. The trial of some of the many programs available was more than satisfactory. Click here for the video.
